Dubai’s commitment to environmental sustainability took a significant leap forward on June 1, 2024, with the implementation of a comprehensive ban on all single-use plastic bags. This policy applies to all retailers, restaurants, and businesses within the Emirate, regardless of the size or type of establishment.
